Filmteractive Market 2016 – Call for projects is now open!


8th of April marks the beginning of project submission for the 4th edition of Filmteractive Market. It is an unique opportunity for authors creatively utilizing new technologies to pitch their ideas in front of marketers representing big brands and decision makers from venture capital funds.

Filmteractive Market is...
… a meeting place of representatives of business, advertising and creative industries, a place of newfangled, undiscovered possibilities and ideas for cooperation. Filmteractive Market is dedicated to authors of projects taking advantage of innovative content and technology solutions, advertising business, marketers and representatives of venture funds. All parties interested in developing, selling or buying an interesting project or technology solution have a chance to meet for the fourth time in Lodz Film School. We have organized Market since 2013 – Agata Wielgus, Filmteractive Project Manager says – The experience we acquired allows us to describe precisely the purpose of this event and potential benefits that will be gained by all participating parties.

Rules of submission
Call for projects for this year’s edition will last from 8th April to 15th June 2016. After final online selection, authors of the most highly rated projects will present them during pitching sessions and will have an opportunity to showcase them in the Innovation Room – a Filmteractive 2016 novelty.

This year the organizers are looking for innovation in content, platform or technology. For example:
• Projects with interactive experience utilizing technologies (e.g. consoles and game controllers) in a creative way
• Projects utilizing virtual reality
• Projects that are something more than video games (games with innovative approach to playing experience)
• Everything that goes with #socialmedia #mobile #VR #gaming #innovation #interactive

Market and Filmteractive 2016
This year, among many novelties, we have prepared the Innovation Room where project authors will have a chance to present their work at one of the specially prepared multimedia stands – Agata Wielgus explains – Pitching sessions during this edition are supposed to reflect real open discussion to allow Market participants to gain as much as possible from Filmteractive.

Market is a part of international Filmteractive event, which in 2016 will be held on 29th September. The event was created as an answer to the needs of changing advertising market and our objective is to create a place where business can meet new technology in a creative environment. Filmteractive is also an amazing chance to network in a friendly and cozy atmosphere of Lodz Film School. Every year representatives of business, advertising and creative industries meet here to jointly pose challenges to marketing business.
