The Kissinger Twins are among speakers at upcoming Filmteractive Festival, which will be held on September 28 and 29 in Lodz Film School. It is the sixth edition of the festival connecting the world of business, technology and art.

The Kissinger Twins is an artistic duo – Dawid Marcinkowski and Katarzyna Kifert, directors and multimedia creators. Their works are characterized by intermediality, combining classic cinema, American film noir, photography and state-of-the-art technology. The Kissinger Twins are the authors of the first Polish interactive film Sufferrosa. The project was inspired by the works of Jean-Luc Godard and his Alphaville, and a masterpiece by Wojciech Jerzy Has – Saragossa Manuscript. The cast of Sufferrosa included, among others, Ryszard Ronczewski, Beata Tyszkiewicz, Gosia Baczyńska and Ewa Szykulska.

The works of The Kissinger Twins have received many distinctions. They have been recognized during Webby Awards for The Trip, Davey Awards, W3 or Stuttgarter Film Winters. The creations of the duo are regularly presented at prestigious film and new media festivals i.e. SXSW, Vancouver IFF, onedotzero London, Reykjavik IFF, Geneva IFF, OFFF Barcelona and WRO. Their retrospective, which included their most important works, was displayed at Institute of Contemporary Arts in London.

This fall, The Kissinger Twins will once again be the guests at international festival of interactive communication – Filmteractive. They will take the audience on an interactive journey to explore history from Flash to VR.
