A real virtual adventure, which the audience will be able to experience during the festival, will be provided by Oculus Touch – groundbreaking virtual reality controllers, responsive to hand movement and gestures, providing realistic experience. The effects of cooperation with prerelease Oculus Touch will be demonstrated by the organizer of the event – Deloitte Digital at their installation VR Adventure Box.
Possibilities of using virtual reality in modern communication will be discussed at Filmteractive by renowned speakers from, among other countries, Poland, France and Singapore – creators, representatives of global brands, new media experts and venture investors.
At VR Cinema by Samsung, specially prepared for Filmteractive, the visitors will be able to immerse in virtual reality. The programme includes 360 reports and documentaries, media, touristic (i.e. YouVisit) and educational (i.e. Human Body) projects, but also VR Visio with Cadillac test drive and real estate exploration with Immersion.
VR dominated Filmteractive Market as well. The most interesting projects chosen by the international jury will be showcased at Innovation Zone and during pitching sessions. The winner will be announced on September 29 during the Festival in Lodz Film School. (This year’s Call for Projects received more than 50 submissions from all over the world: from Australia, through Israel, Pakistan, Egypt, up to the USA - an international panel of experts picked 8 finalists.)
The topic of virtual reality will be summarized by a discussion panel moderated by Artur Kurasiński, who will also host the festival.

At Filmteractive he will discuss how to use Big Data and Marketing automation to create personalized messaging and campaigns at scale and ensure they are moving consumers emotionally – not just delivering an offer, product or price.

Deciphering X, Y, Z and subsequent genes made easy during a closed workshop on the second day of the festival – thanks to Joeri Van den Bergh, a cofounder of Gen Y Expert InSites Consulting and author of How cool brands stay hot, and Brand&Marketing Strategy Directors at Stratosfera by Deloitte.
