This year the main prize of Filmteractive Market 2016 (10 000 PLN and MIPTV invitation) cofounded by Creative Europe Programme and Deloitte Digital was awarded to Virtelio project from Luxembourg. The jury awarded the second and the third prize as well, to Polish project Chernobyl VR and Spanish RAY respectively.

Projects were assessed during a two-stage selection process by an international panel of experts consisting of: Tomasz Kowalczyk (HardGamma Ventures), Michał Kramarz, (Google Poland), Łukasz Kosuniak (Samsung Electronics), Krzysztof „Chris” Kowalczyk (HardGamma Ventures), Morgan Bouchet (Orange), Kuba Dudek (Speedup Group), Ewa Wolska- Rzewuska (Vice Media), Rafał Baran (4Fun Media S.A.), Andreas Harting (Deloitte Digital/Deloitte Ventures), Monika Bednarek (MIPTV) and Zbigniew Szczerbetka (Deloitte Digital CE).


Filmteractive Market 2016 winning projects:

Virtelio – a user-friendly tool to create non-linear interactive movies.



Chernobyl VR – a Polish project taking the user on a virtual trip around Chernobyl and Pripyat. It allows to experience first-hand the state of abandoned city 30 years after one of the most disastrous nuclear catastrophes. The history is bound into a convention of a video game with educational and fictional narration.




RAY is an artistic experience, which allows us to join Mogen and Ray in their short journey and marvel at an unexpected ending.  


During the first stage, 8 best projects were chosen based on submitted forms and later presented at Filmteractive Market at a specially designed, open-access Innovation Zone. During the second stage experts asked additional questions during pitching sessions, allowing them to ultimately select the winners.

This year’s edition received more than 50 virtual reality projects submissions originating from all over the world: from Australia, through Asia, Europe and up to the United Statessays Agata Lepianka, Filmteractive Project ManagerThis year’s edition was rich in projects of varied themes and technological advancement. It clearly indicates the potential of Filmteractive Market as well as the presented projects. We keep our fingers crossed for their success.




Filmteractive Market is a unique event, which was held for the third time. This interactive and cross-media expo receives submissions of innovative projects connected with VR, film and digital content. It is a meeting place of creators, representatives of media and investment as well as marketers interested in purchasing smart technology solutions. The mission of Filmteractive is to spot and support young creators, help their projects reach a wide range of users and, above all, to achieve financial success.
